Factoid

The town began its decline after the flood of 1908 washed away most of the town, killing 17 people.


Factoid

The town was named Folsom to honor the maiden name of Frances Folsom.  Ms. Folsom married President Grover Cleveland while he was in office.

The weather can be quite different in Folsom than it is just 10 miles away in Capulin or Des Moines - especially the wind.
